WELCOME TO THE THERAPY PATCH

My role is a to help positive change. I can offer the tools that help to understand the underlying reasons behind certain behaviours, anxiety, thoughts & feelings. There are techniques which break detrimental cycles of negative thinking which we can explore.  As an integrative counsellor I offer an  interactive, supportive and encouraging approach.

Counselling isn’t just about having someone to listen – it’s also about learning to look at your own life and experiences with a new perspective.  Therapy is not a quick fix,  but it can be a life-changing step towards finding out what you need in your life going forward. Counselling can also help you build a deeper relationship with yourself and others.

ABOUT ME

I have a degree in Integrative counselling  and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy & therefore adhere to their Ethical Framework. This ensures I keep up to date with regular training, qualifications & practice.

My aim is to provide a safe and confidential space where you are not hurried or judged. I will help you to explore your feelings and thoughts towards your life experiences and how you can move forward, as an integrative counsellor I can also help you to learn the tools needed in helping you to do this.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I provide a free 30 minute initial consultation where we can get to know each other

Thereafter each session is £40 for 50 minutes

I offer  Face to face and online sessions

I also offer outdoor therapy if requested (walking in green spaces)

After the initial consultation I will arrange to meet you at one of my practices for an initial session. This is the time where you and I will decide collaboratively if you will be able to work with each other and discuss what is best for you. It is then recommended that you take the time to reflect on your session and decide if this is the right path for you.

Each session is 50 minutes long.

The amount of sessions you will need will be decided by you, as you can end whenever you feel that you need to do so, however Every six sessions we will evaluate where you feel you are at and we will discuss the plans going forward.

When ending it would be advisable to give 1 weeks’ notice so we can end the sessions safely.

I understand that life sometimes gets in the way and as a result may need to reschedule your appointment. I would request at least 24hrs notice by either telephone or email but any less will require the agreed rate for the missed session.

If you have any more questions or you would like to arrange a session please contact us and we will be happy to help you nay way we can.
